Sweetgrass Sequoia Bar Soap

Sequoia is a proudly Indigenous brand that is 100% owned and operated by Indigenous women. Founded in 2002 by Michaelee Lazore who is Kanien'kehá:ka (Mohawk) from Akwesáhsne and Northern Paiute from Nevada. The design, packaging, and production of all products is done in the working studio locally. In order to keep the next seven generations in mind, the production is sustainable and the ingredients are ethically sourced. Sequoia represents nature and strength, as the Sequoia tree can live 2,000 to 3,000 years.

Sequoia soaps are made with organic shea butter, organic castor oil and coconut oil, to hydrate and nourish your dry skin. They are made with 100% natural vegetable oils and will leave your skin feeling refreshed and touched with subtle scents.

Sweetgrass is a lightly sweet, herbal, grassy scent. It's true that due to urbanization, sweetgrass is harder to come by, as it thrives in wild environments. Sequoia has captured the 'wild' in this bar of soap for you to enjoy. Sweetgrass is their best selling soap, as sweetgrass is highly regarded in Native American culture.
